About Prefabricated home

Prefabricated homes mainly refer to homes that are movable, and can be built advance in the off-site. The origination of prefabricated homes dates back to the 16th century when it was first invented in the Mughal era by the popular Mughal emperor—the great Akbar.

These types of dwellings mainly require fewer amounts of labor and time, when compared to the conventional form of houses and buildings.

After its origination in India, the concept of prefabricated homes, or prefabs, as they are commonly known, became popular in countries like North America, as well as the United Kingdom, where prefabricated houses were built in large numbers, especially after the Second World War. This was to temporarily provide shelter for people whose houses were destroyed in bombings and other forms of attacks during the battles fought.

As on today, these types of dwellings are becoming rapidly popular in Europe, America, Canada and Australia, for its reasonable price in construction and its effectiveness.
