Siksha Abhiyan Scholarship Overview

The Siksha Abhiyan Scholarship is an online scholarship awarded by the Modi Foundation and is only available for student tuition fees. The scholarships offered to vary from 5 percent to 100 percent of the fee waiver depending on the recipients’ merit.

For the Scholarship, students from Class 8 to Class 12 may apply. Students who are waiting for their results from the Board may also apply. Students can request the Scholarship from Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and West UP.

They are shortlisted for an interview with subject experts after the students’ initial selection based on the application to decide on the type of Scholarship they would like to apply for.

However, the final selection for the Scholarship is based on the results of the Siksha Abhiyan Entrance Exam, which is conducted annually in various centers in selected states between February and October and November each year. INR 400/- is the review fee for the Siksha Abhiyan Entrance Test.

The reward of the Siksha Abhiyan Scholarship

The endowment can only grant scholarships. The chosen scholars can also qualify for a gift prize, however. The sum to be awarded by way of a gift scholarship to each scholar shall be determined based on the criteria set for the purpose and shall not cover the studies’ full cost.

Scholarships vary from 5 percent to 100 percent waiver of tuition, depending on the student’s eligibility & brilliance. The grants are only given based on the tuition fee.

Siksha Abhiyan Selection Process for Scholarship

After the initial review of applications, applicants are shortlisted by subject experts for an interview in person, recommending them to apply for scholarship categories.

The final selection is based on a student’s success in his/her score in the ‘Siksha Abhiyan entrance test that is usually held annually between February and October-November in different centers in the States mentioned above.
