KFC ties up with IRCTC

After pizza producer, Domino’s, American chicken eatery network Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC), has tied up with the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) to serve purchasers on trains.

At present, the office is accessible on 12 trains going through New Delhi railroad station and will be extended to Vishakhapatnam, Hyderabad (Kacheguda) and Bangalore (Yeshwantpur) stations throughout the following 10 days.

Purchasers will need to visit the IRCTC site or call a toll free number to put in their request. A similar initiative was taken by Jubliant Food Works Limited owned Dominos Pizza in February this year to 12 selected stations and was one of the first kind of e-catering service initiatives taken in the recent past to serve trains and has been a success so far leading to their competitor also to enter the business.
