Xiaomi launches Mi headphones and In-ear headphones in India

Xiaomi, the giant Chinese smartphone maker has marked its first anniversary in the Indian market by launching its new Mi headphones and in-ear headphones in India at Rs 5,499 and Rs 999, respectively.
The newly launched audio gadgets will be available from July 23 on Xiaomi India’s official website starting at 10 am.
The launch of the audio devices followed just after the announcement of the all-new Mi 4i (32GB) model from Xiaomi. Both the headphones and earphones were announced back in January this year.
The Mi headphones are featured with a 50mm diaphragm which is four times harder than steel, and 60% lighter than Titanium alloy. The headphones also have a semi-open design along with 3D audio and dual damping technology, which gives realistic surround audio and enhanced noise cancellation, thereby providing high fidelity audio quality. It also has Kevlar fibers and a Knowles MEMS microphone, which will enhance the durability of the headphones, and will increases audio clarity during phone calls.
The headphone also comes with a premium gold finish on the aluminum grilles and black leather stitched with red. The Mi Headphones are optimized for music playback via cell phones and weighs 220 grams. It can also be folded, to increase ease of portability and will be sold for Rs. 5,499.
The Xiaomi In-ear headphones are offered at a much affordable price of Rs.999 and feature an aerospace-grade metal diaphragm with a patented ‘sandwich’ design. The earphones also employ a special break-resistant Kevlar fiber cable and an ergonomic design for comfort. The device will be available in a Space Grey colour variant and weighs 14 grams.
The Mi In-Ear headphones have a brushed aluminum design and also features an in-built balanced damping mechanism, which provides a balanced airflow within the earphone’s chambers.
