Adobe India Women-in-Technology Scholarship Overview
The Adobe India Women-in-Technology Scholarship aims to establish gender equality in science, technology, and engineering by empowering women to demonstrate their computing and technology excellence and become potential leaders and role models in the field.
We build groundbreaking solutions for our Adobe Research software products to better support clients, creative professionals, developers, and companies.
We put the most intelligent, motivated individuals we can find together. We give them the freedom to cultivate their creative curiosity while providing them with the tools and encouragement they need to turn their ideas into meaningful results.
The Adobe Research Women-in-Technology Scholarship honors excellent undergraduate and master’s female students at North American universities studying artificial intelligence or machine learning, data science, computer science, or mobile/web development including Canada and Mexico.
Covers for Scholarship
Fund for tuition fees for the remainder of the award winner’s university education culminating in the academic year 2021-22.
- Opportunity for Adobe India Summer Internship in 2021*.
- Mentoring by an Adobe senior technology executive.
- Travel to the India Conference of Grace Hopper, including participation fees.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must meet the following requirements to be eligible for the 2021 Adobe India Women-in-Technology Scholarship:
- Being an Indian female student citizen
- Must be enrolled at an Indian University or Institute at the time of application as a full-time student in a standardized 4-year BE/B.Tech education program or an Integrated ME/MS/MTech program should complete the program in Academic Year 2021-22.
- The following streams should be followed by a major or minor: Computer Science/Engineering, Information Science, Data Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Maths, and Computing Engineering.
- The Adobe India Women-In-Technology Scholarship OR the Adobe Global Women In Technology Scholarship can apply to ONLY ONE of the following two scholarships.
Not qualified to apply is someone who is a “related party” to an Adobe employee. Related Party Definition-Any individual has the following relationship with an Adobe employee: spouse, domestic partner, infant, parent, sibling, child-in-law, parent-in-law, or sibling-in-law; any other relative or individual residing in an Adobe employee’s household.
Advantages
- For the remainder of their university education, culminating in 2022, girls chosen for the scholarship will receive support towards tuition fees.
- There will be an opportunity for learners to join Adobe India’s Summer Internship in 2021.
- Mentoring by an Adobe senior technology executive.
- Opportunity to fly to the India Conference of Grace Hopper, including coverage of participation fees.
Documents Needed
- Academic transcripts of current and former institutions
- Letter of a Professor’s recommendation
- Essays of short-question form
Application Procedure
To submit, follow the steps given below:

Step 2: Applicants can build a new application or access an existing one.
Step 3: In the next step, fill in all the information necessary.
Step 4: Upload the documents needed, including the reference letters.
Step 5: Submit the form for submission.
Criteria for Selection
- After evaluating the following considerations, the applicants will be selected:
- Mental and analytical strengths
- Technological ability
- Capacity for imaginative thinking
- Ambition and effort
- Ability to work in a team
- Conditions and Terms
For this scholarship, only women students from India are qualified to apply.
It needs to be noted that only one of the two scholarships can be applied for by a single applicant: The Adobe India Women In Technology Scholarship or the Adobe Global Women In Technology Scholarship.
Applicants linked to Adobe’s employees (siblings, children, partners, family, etc. are not qualified to apply.
The internship will take place at the office of Adobe India.
The decision by Adobe will be binding on all matters.
