About All India Industrial Exhibition
Also known as Numaish—which stands for “exhibition,” the All India Industrial Exhibition is an annual event in the form of a consumer exhibition conducted in the Indian city of Hyderabad located in Telangana every year. The history of this exhibition dates back to the year 1938 when a group of graduate students from Osmania University started this exhibition to showcase local products.
Until today, this event is the only one that has retained to be still active in its kind and goes on for a long chain of days—46 days to be precise at a stretch.
The exhibition consists of joy rides, a variety of food items and other cultural programs held especially for the visitors. It is conducted at the same venue every year at Nampally in Hyderabad, on a 23-acre piece of land. As on today, the exhibition features products consisting of handicrafts, garments, and eateries from all states of India, including Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, and Madhya Pradesh.
People from most states of the country visit the exhibition and the event grosses sums in crores every year.
