What is a Scholarship for Aikyashree?

The Aikyashree scholarship, created by the Government of West Bengal and its subsidiary boards, is for meritorious state students studying at school and college.

To promote more socio-economic and educational opportunities, minority students are provided by the West Bengal Minorities Development and Finance Corporation (WBMDFC).

For the financial year 2019-20, the Aikyashree Scholarship Scheme is entirely funded from the state budget. For the disbursement of students, various pre-matric, post-matric, and merit-cum-means scholarships are eligible.

 

Aikyashree-Scholarship Program Benefits

Under the West Bengal Minority Development and Finance Corporation (WBMDFC), there are many scholarship programs. This company has chosen to set up the Aikyashree scholarship.

However, students from minority groups such as Christian, Muslim, Sikh, Buddhist, Parsee, Jain can benefit from the State government’s financial upliftment.

Aikyashree Scholarships List with Details

The Growth and Finance Corporation of West Bengal Minorities, through the Aikyashree Scholarship 2020 Portal, provides students with five government scholarship schemes:

3. The Kanya MedhaBrittiBigyani Scholarship, West Bengal
4. Swami Vivekananda Scholarship for Merit cum Means (SVMCM)
5. Scholarship System in Hindi, West Bengal

 

Aikyashree-Rewards Scholarship

Only the students whose score is more than 50 percent marks in their previous examination are allocated the Aikyashree scholarship number.

The sum of the scholarship is given to qualifying students from the State Government Fund. The sum of the scholarship is awarded to the beneficiaries in two classes, Day Scholars and Hostellers.

Aikyashree-Application Procedure Step by Step

All schemes are introduced online under the Aikyashree scholarship. Below is the step-wise method for applying for a scholarship:

Registration for Students

• The applicant student can go through the official website of the Aikyashree Scholarship.
• Click on the tab for New Registration/ Student Registration.

The registration form shown should be completed with all personal information such as name, district, contact number, email ID, bank details, etc.

• To continue, press the ‘Submit’ button.

 

Eligibility of Scheme

In this stage, all academic-related information such as the school’s current name, address, marks obtained in the previous qualifying test, annual family income, etc., must be completed.

Registering Students

• A total list of all scholarship schemes based on the eligibility requirements is displayed after submitting all the details in the previous phase. For the application, applicants obtain a temporary user ID. The email address entered in the previous phase will be sent to both the user ID and password.

 

Login for Students

• By using the user ID and password given, applicants can log in to the scholarship portal.

Under the ‘Basic Information and Academic Information’ portion, he/ she should fill in the details. It should also mention the bank account information.

 

Online Final Submission

All the information entered should be checked by the applicant, and corrections should be made at this point.

• The applicant can ‘Apply authentication.

 

Submission Offline

• After the completed form has been successfully submitted, the applicant can take the same copy and submit it and all the supporting documentation to the organization’s head.

The papers that must be submitted along with the application form for the Aikyashree scholarship are:

• Certification from the Community
• The preceding academic year mark sheet
• Fee receipt from the current year of the course
