About Mount Harriet National Park

Mount Harriet Island National Park is found in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands in the Ferrargunj tehsil.

It is a national park, spread over a territory of 46.62 sq km and is likewise considered as Andaman and Nicobar Island’s most astounding point.

For the Britishers staying in this island, the national park was considered a popular cookout spot.

The spot has the name from the name of Robert Christopher Tytler’s wife. He was the trooper in the English powers, who was delegated as directing Superintendent of the Convict Settlement in the Port Blair locale, on account of his insight into nature and enthusiasm for photography, from the year of 1862 till 1864.

The recreation center is understood for the animals, for example, saltwater crocodiles, wild pigs, thief crab, and turtles.
