Maruti Suzuki Launch New Car – IGNIS

All set to launch on the 13th of January, 2017, the brand new Maruti Suzuki Ignis was previously scheduled to launch in 2016 itself, however, because of exponentially high demands for its already existing products, for instance, the Maruti Suzuki Baleno, the company had to push the launch of the Ignis model to early 2017.

The car was first unveiled at the Auto Expo of 2016 and after Maruti Suzuki S-Cross and Maruti Suzuki Baleno, the Ignis happens to be the third model of car produced by Maruti which is scheduled to be sold via Nexa dealerships.

The brand new car comes decked with a 1.2-liter K-series petrol version and a 1.3-liter DDiS diesel engine version and has an automatic as well as a 5-speed manual transmission.

The car is also said to bring in a wide range of firsts in the segment of compact SUVs. It will be right to say that the car’s overall design is that of a stylish hatch in the form of a compact SUV.

Coming to the design of the car, the model boasts of a rather intricate and retro outlook gelled with modern advanced technology, with square LED headlights and a muscular overview, wherein the car has a raked windscreen towards the rear end, a dashing front angle, and an imposing and stylish bumper.

The car’s interior is very unique boasting of new features, including new knobs, switches, steering control, controls, seats, instrument cluster, among many more other features.

Additionally, the Ignis also comes loaded with an impressive touch screen infotainment system, all decked with Android Auto Expert as well as Apple CarPlay.

The expected mileage sets for the Maruti Suzuki Ignis are,  20 KMPH for the petrol variant as well as 26 KMPH for the diesel variant. The expected price of the Maruti Suzuki Ignis is expected to be somewhere between Rs. 4 lacs to Rs. 6 lacs.

From its intra-league, the Maruti Suzuki Ignis is supposed to be placed above the Maruti Suzuki Wagon R and Maruti Suzuki Celerio, but below the Maruti Suzuki Swift and Maruti Suzuki Baleno.
