Latest: Alana King’s Four-For Beats Barbados, And Lanning Sends Australia To The Semi-finals
At the Commonwealth Games, Alana King of Australia contributed to her team’s victory over Barbados by taking four wickets while only allowing eight runs to score. This enabled her side to go on to the semi-finals of the competition and earn a spot in the gold medal match. This is the latest news about cricket.
After winning both of their games, Australia is now in first place in Group A, and on Wednesday, they will compete against Pakistan, which has not yet won a game, for the other spot in the semi-finals. Pakistan has not yet won a game. Both India and Barbados have one triumph to their names as well.

This caused Dottin to go out of the game. This was place at the same time that King was passing the ball. Dottin decided to uphold Sue Redfern’s leg before the wicket call after examining the tape.
This was because the ball did make contact with the middle stump around a third of the way up. Dottin was caught batting after he had scored eight runs off of 22 deliveries, giving him a strike rate of 36.36 percent.
Megan Schutt made a spectacular catch at the deep backward square to deny Kycia Knight of Barbados, who had scored 62 runs without being dismissed in the previous match. This was McGrath’s first successful delivery.

During the third innings, Lanning was about to hit when she sagged forward along her crease and sent the ball toward the boundary. Previously, she had been standing back and stretching her bat.
Matthews and Elliott scored four straight singles in the following two overs, which brought Healy closer and closer to achieving his goal of winning the match. This placed Healy in a position to win the match before Lanning struck Shakera Selman into the square-leg boundary for the runs that proved to be decisive in the match.
