About Kishtwar National Park

Kishtawar is one of the famous national parks in India situated at higher height in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. It was built up in the year 1981, with the fundamental reason for ensuring snow panthers.

It is arranged around 248 km from Jammu, complete zone secured by the recreation center is about 400 sq km encompassed by snow secured mountains, various streams coursing through the recreation center adds attraction and appeal to this untamed life.

The high height national park is the common living space of 15 well-evolved creature species including Himalayan cocoa and wild bear and the musk deer.

The recreation center is having 50 types of flying creatures.

The primary elements of the recreation center are the disparity in geography and vegetation which are found here in plenitude.

This is all due to the varieties in atmosphere, height and off base geology which contribute to the event of various sorts of woodland vegetation.

The types of principle trees are Cedrus, pinus, gerardiana, Quercus, deodar, juglans, Regia, wallichiana, and Ulmus and so forth the fundamental herbs are Primula spp., Brachypodium spp., Dipsacus, mitis, Artemisia, vulgaries, and anemone spp., and so on.

The fundamental bushes are Desmodim tiliaefolium, viburnum spp., Rosa spp., jacquemontiana and so forth.
