Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10RR Finally Launches In India
About Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10RR
March 11, 2017, marked the launch of the much-awaited sports bike—the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10RRR in India. The bike has stayed in news for a number of reasons, one of which is the fact that it has had limited production and there are only 1000 units available for worldwide sales as of now. Kawasaki has constantly promoted the Ninja ZX-10RR as the most track-focused production sportbike, from the list of all other sportbikes that Kawasaki has made until now.
Coming to the overall features of the new Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10RR, there’s a list of things that the sportbike retains from its predecessor; that is the standard Ninja ZX-10R. The most fundamental of which is its 998cc inline-four engine, which is integrated to a 6-speed gearbox.
This is followed by the 6-axis IMU from the Ninja ZX-10R, along with the quick-shifter that facilitates upshifts and downshifts in the bike, in a clutchless format. Now the upgrades in the new Ninja ZX-10RR include the 7-spoke lightweight Marchesini wheels as well as the Pirelli Supercorsa SP tyres. The company has also claimed that the new Ninja ZX-10RR is faster by the two-second lap version of the standard ZX-10R.
The consumers opting for the race kit of the sportbike will also enjoy benefits of high lift cams, a modified and up to date cooling system for the engine, as well as a reinforced crankcase.
The wonderful beast that the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10RR is, is currently available only in a black and white livery version, in a single-seater format.
The estimated price range of this sportbike is around Rs. 20 lakh in the Indian market. Presently, it will be sharing a competitive vibe with its contemporaries in the market, which are mainly the MV Agusta F4, the Yamaha YZF-R1, and the Aprilia RSV4 RR.
