Honda is back with its latest offering in the SUV segment of the Indian market and this time it is the brand new Honda CR-V. According to confirmed news, the premium SUV is all set to launch during the festive season in India in the month of October 2018.

After a bland run of the fourth-generation CR-V, Honda has surely upped its game this time, with the new Honda CR-V, giving it a more sporty, cool, and desirable design, revamped into a seven-seat variant alongside the sensibility of a diesel power.

The look of the car has mainly changed from the rear portion otherwise its overall appearance remains the same as the ongoing variant in the market.

However, this new variant is quite bigger in size, going longer by 27mm and wider by 35mm of the current model. The wheelbase too has been expanded by around 40mm, which in result has paved the way for the third row of seats in the SUV.

The squared-off wheel arches along with all-LED headlamps and more pronounced ridges on the hood give the car a more confident and aggressive look, making it way more visually appealing than the current model that’s running.

The 18-inch alloy wheels too are an upgrade from the current model and wear a wider rubber as well.

The car from the rear gets the appearance of quite the power lifter, especially in heavy traffic on roads, as it manages to look toned and classy, especially with the large tailgate and L-shaped tail lamps that will garner anyone’s attention almost immediately.

Coming to the interiors of the SUV, it looks quite bright, especially with the ivory leather for the seats with faux wood trims on the door pads, giving the overall appearance of the interiors quite a quality and sci-fi-like feel. There’s also a 7-inch digital display for the driver to easily access information on the go.

The central console of the car too has a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system and the passengers are also treated to ample leg space for proper comfort and durability, which is something Honda has always been known for. However, the third row of seats would be better suitable for young children, given the space offered.

Other features on the brand new Honda CR-V include Six airbags, ABS with EBD, Driver Attention Monitor, which warns the driver in case he/she is feeling sleepy, Vehicle Stability Assist, ISOFIX seat mounts, and motion-adaptive electric steering.

The price of this new variant is expected to be in the range of Rs. 25 lakhs to Rs. 30 lakhs.
