TATA Launched new SUV in Indian Market – TATA HEXA

This brand new SUV offering from TATA was first unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show of 2015 and will be the revamped variant of the already existing Tata Aria, as reports say, it will be a more tweaked version of the Aria. The advanced features in the Tata Hexa SUV include honeycomb radiator grille loaded with chrome slats, projector headlamps, as well as fog lights all set on the front bumper.

The car comes with a six-seating segment inside and a whole range of other features, such as, Harman touchscreen infotainment system, new 19 inch alloy wheels, LED taillights, dual tail tips, spoiler, multifunctional steering wheel, individual and automatic climate control Air Conditioning vents, LED ambient mood lights, curtain and side airbags, among many others.

In terms of mileage too the Tata Hexa is said to be better and way more efficient than the existing Tata Aria. The Hexa comes decked with a six-speed manual gearbox and as per reports, even an automatic six-speed transmission unit is in progress.

The engine is packed with four-cylinders and functions on modified 2.2-liter Varicor diesel, with a maximum power range of 154 BHP, and has a maximum torque range of 400 NM.

According to reports, the Tata Hexa is scheduled to be launched in India in January, 2017.  The price range of the Tata Hexa is said to be somewhere between Rs. 12 lacs to Rs. 18 lacs. The Tata Hexa will face direct competition in the market from two of its major contemporaries, the Toyota Innova Crysta as well as the Mahindra XUV500.
