The 2017 Jeep Compass was recently previewed in Brazil, and with its launch in the market, it will be replacing the existing Jeep Compass and other patriot models from the American automaker.

The SUV is said to be the most affordable SUV from all lines of SUV offerings from Jeep in India, even though if reports are to be believed then the 2017 Jeep Compass is said to have quite a hefty market price in India, with a price tag of approximately Rs. 20 lacs to Rs. 25 lacs.

The production of the 2017 Jeep Compass in India will take place in Jeep’s Ranjangaon facility in the state of Maharashtra.

The C-SUV shares a lot of resemblance with Grand Cherokee, boasting of a new global design language and rugged outlook, paired with other features like LED daytime running lamps, contoured engine hood as well as a big bumper.

Soon after its launch in mid-2017, the 2017 Jeep Compass is expected to face direct competition from its existing contemporaries in the C-SUV segment, and this includes automobiles like the Honda CR-V, the Ford Endeavor, the Hyundai Sante Fe, the Toyota Fortuner, among other premium SUVs in this price range and specs.
