B-Town’s IT couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, fondly known as DeepVeer, took the nation by storm when they tied the knot earlier this month at Lake Como, Italy.
The couple had a lavish Konkani and Sindhi wedding ceremony on the 14th and 15th of November respectively.
They left us craving for more when they threw a grand reception at The Leela Palace, Bengaluru, on the 21st of November since it is the city where Deepika grew up.
After that, Ranveer’s sister Ritika Bhavnani threw a grand bash for the celebration of her brother’s marriage with Deepika and it was all about glitz and glam!
Going the unconventional way, they both decked up in Sabyasachi outfits, donning a gothic theme, looking eccentric.
And now everyone is eagerly awaiting the Mumbai reception of the couple, which is all set to take place on the 1st of December at the Grand Hyatt. A long list of Bollywood’s Who’s who will be in attendance at the reception and now if reports are to be believed then Deepika’s most popular frienemy Katrina Kaif has also been invited to the bash.
A report in SpotboyE says, ”Katrina received the invitation four days ago and she is gearing up to attend th event. She has discussed this with Salman Khan and if all goes well, she will walk into the party with the superstar and Bharat’s director Ali Abbas Zafar. She is looking forward to the bash.”
The report also mentions that it’s not Deepika but Ranveer who has sent out the invite to Katrina. A source said that Deepika and Ranveer have personally sent text messages to their colleagues and friends, inviting them for the bash. While Deepika didn’t send out any text to Katrina, Ranveer did.
A few weeks back, Katrina appeared on Karan Johar‘s chat show Koffee with Karan alongside Varun Dhawan, where she said although she hasn’t been invited to any of the upcoming weddings, she was certainly looking forward to an invitation.
“I’m really excited about all these weddings. I want to wear nice clothes and go to attend… I might not be invited for any but that’s a separate thing. But in my mind I’m looking forward to an invitation,” said the actress.
