Actor Fawad Khan is a popular heartthrob, not just in his home country Pakistan, but also in India, where his performances in noted films like ‘’Kapoor and Sons’’ as well as ‘’ÁeDil Hai Mushkil’’ and ‘’Khoobsurat’’ are still cherished. The actor has a huge fan following in both the countries, especially female fans who dot on the actor’s impeccable acting skills and to die for charming looks. However, it has been a long time that Fawad was seen in any recent Bollywood flicks post his stint in Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.
This is due to the growing tension between India and Pakistan, wherein India has put a ban on Pakistani actors. This development has made the actor stay away from Bollywood screens for a long time now, as many Hindi film projects just got shelved for Fawad.
And now the latest we hear is that the talented actor has been yet again replaced in one of the most awaited Bollywood films, owing to the same reason of ban on Pakistani actors in India.
Yes, you read it right! Director Karan Johar wanted to cast Fawad opposite Katrina Kaif in one of his upcoming projects that has been tentatively titled ‘’RaatBaki.’’ But now the grapevine says that Fawad has been replaced by Salman Khan.
Yes, now it will be Katrina and Salman’s Jodi that would grace our screens together in this upcoming film and currently the script of the film too is being reworked on, to make it more appropriate to fit Salman’s personality as previously it was written keeping Fawad in mind.
The film is still in the pre-production phase and is slated to hit the filming stage sometime later this year.
