Colors show Bepannah was launched a few months back in March 2018 with a lot of expectations, promotions, glamour, and glitz.
With its attractive ensemble starring television’s most loved actress Jennifer Winget and chocolate boy Harshad Chopra, the show was sure to soar high in the sky.
And so it did, debuting in the top 5 list of BARC ratings. However, what didn’t work out in favor of the show was the fact that for the weeks that came along, the numbers only started dipping low.
While the show gained immense popularity online, the same couldn’t be said for its general TRP as the popularity never reflected in terms of the BARC ratings every Thursday.
Add to that the frequent change in timeslots, the doomsday wasn’t far. While the die-hard fans of the show tried their best to shoot up the ratings and made impeccable efforts to have it continued on Viacom 18’s digital platform Voot instead, nothing worked as eventually the makers and the channel decided to pull the plug on the show.
It will be replaced on the channel starting next week.
Yesterday was the last day of the shoot and while every member from the star cast posted an emotional goodbye on their respective social media handles, what came as a bittersweet surprise was that they decided to go LIVE from the sets for the fans of the show.
Yes, a live session took place where the cast was emotional yet all smiles for the viewers as they bid adieu to all those who have loved the show from the beginning till the very end.
