Corrections Policy
We aim to be accurate. When we get something wrong, we correct it openly.
How to report an error
Use the Contact page or email [email protected]. Please include the article URL, what is wrong and, if you can, a source for the correct information.
What we do
- We review every correction request, normally within 48 hours.
- Factual errors (wrong names, figures, dates or facts) are corrected in the article. A note at the end of the article says what was changed and when, for example: “Correction, 22 October 2026: An earlier version of this article gave the issue size as X. It is Y.”
- Minor fixes such as typos or formatting are made without a note.
- Substantive updates, where new information comes in after publication, are marked “Updated” with a date and time. The dateModified value in the page’s structured data is updated to match.
- If a report turns out to be fundamentally wrong, we either withdraw it and explain why, or replace it with a corrected version and add a note. We do not quietly delete errors.
