Top PlayStation(PS) 4 Games at Affordable Prices
The games for PlayStation (PS4) are affordable in India, but they might not be as affordable as you might like. However, Gadgets 360 reported in June that some of the games from PlayStation Hits would be coming in for Rs 999 from Sony India, but this isn’t the case.
According to those who are familiar with the ongoing matter the company is currently looking at a price tag of Rs 1,499 for the game range. The reason they haven’t lowered the price more is that of the digital pricing of the same titles that are set at Rs 1,999.
The company doesn’t want to allow for such a large gap in prices between the digital and physical games.
Earlier Sony had stated that the games in their PlayStation Hits range might vary when it comes to different countries and the Indian page shows the games that have been announced by the company for it.
However, there are numerous retailers that are confirming that within India it would also include some of the games from their earlier permanent price drop. This ensures that there are more games that you can purchase right now for Rs 1,499.
The PlayStation Hits games for PS4 that you can get at Rs 1,499 includes:
- Until Dawn
- Everybody’s Golf
- Gravity Rush 2
- Gravity Rush Remastered
- God of War 3 Remastered
- The Last Guardian
- Wipeout Omega Collection
- Heavy Rain and Beyond Two Souls Collection
- Killzone Shadow Fall
- The Last of Us Remastered
- LittleBigPlanet 3
- Infamous Second Son
- Ratchet and Clank
- Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End
Yeah, some of the listed titles have been affordable due to the regular sales on Flipkart and Amazon as well as the digital sales through the PS Store from Sony, but with an MRP of Rs 1,499, it could see a much lower price when given retail discounts.
Considering that the prices for PC games and various publishers choosing higher price tags across the various platforms it could be a very welcome change of events for gamers all over the world.
Of more significance however is the question about how many of the listed games are going to be available readily.
A fast online check and at numerous stores offline indicates that you can buy most of these games immediately with a few exceptions like LittleBigPlanet 3 and Gravity Rush Remastered.
The initial list of titles from the PlayStation Hits had included titles like Assassin’s Creed Black Flag and Yakuza 0, but it isn’t known yet if they are going to be released in India at the lower price soon since they aren’t directly published by Sony.
There are other distributors like Warner Bros. And Ubisoft who already have their games at a lower price and that have the label of PlayStation Hits.
However, it still isn’t confirmed if these titles, which aren’t exclusive to the PS4, would have a lower price since they already cost around Rs 1,299 or even less.
