About Sirhind

Also commonly referred to as the Fatehgarh Sahib, Sirhind is a prominent pilgrim spot for the Sikhs and is located in the Fatehgarh Sahib district in the north Indian state of Punjab. It is known for its diversified significance when it comes to its history, since it houses the tomb of a Muslim saint named Muzzajuddin Al Sani, and also an ancient sacrificed guduwara called the Fatehgarh Gurudwara.

Every year, tourists in numbers of thousands visit this pilgrim spot to pay their tributes and respect to the Sikh gurus and also participate in the important events that take place over here.

The place has a number of religious spots that form great tourist destinations. Some of these include places like the Gurudwara Jyoti Sarup, the Gurudwara Shahid Ganj, the tomb of Nabis at Bras, the Rauza Sharif, the Mata Chakreshwari Devi Jain Temple, the Das Nami Akhara, the Haveli of Todarmal, the Mosque of Sadhana Kasai, as well as the Sant Namdev Temple.
