About iPhone 8

Rumors are always ripe whenever the topic of discussion is the iPhone 8, the upcoming addition to the ever-popular Apple’s iPhone family, which is all the more special since this time it will the 10th-anniversary edition of the iPhone. The latest buzz is that Apple and Samsung have come to a deal, wherein the latter has apparently signed up for supplying around 160 million OLED panels for the latest iPhone 8, and the grapevines say that it is all set to debut in the market this fall.

From the most talked-about features expected to be seen in the iPhone 8, the most popular ones include an all-glass design, which is now all set to include a curved OLED screen too, and the other feature being talked about is the wireless charging, given the fact that Apple has already registered itself as a part of the Wireless Power Consortium, wherein as per the industry standard of the consortium, majority of mobile devices feature a wireless charging facility.

But before you get your hopes high, let us remind you that being a part of the consortium doesn’t mean by default that the iPhone 8 might have a wireless charging feature, since, given the rumor it will be an all-glass device, chances are that the screen will have an embedded touch ID and there would barely be any bezels.

Additionally, the other two variants of the iPhone 8 that are supposed to be launched will feature the classic LCD display, much similar in looks with the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, however, they will, of course, have more high-end features, and can also sport a wireless charging feature, if at all Apple decides to go ahead with it.

At present, it is only the Apple Macbook Pro Touch Bar and the Apple Watch that have OLED panels, and if Apple does go ahead with it for the brand new iPhone 8, then it is going to need a never ending list of OLED screens, given the fact that the demand for iPhones is higher than other products from Apple. And needless to say, the device will greet you with a pocket burning price of over $1000 USD.
