It’s a family affair: As far back as 1897, their grandfather, H.D. Pappas, immigrated to the United States to pursue his dreams and went on to open restaurants all over the state of Tennessee, Arkansas, and Texas. Pete and Jim Pappas, his two sons, decided to pursue a different career path and opened Pappas Refrigeration in 1945.
