Popular actress Shweta Basu Prasad who rose to fame as a child actress starred in the hit movie Makkhee and later became a household name when she portrayed the royal character of ‘Nandini’ in Ekta Kapoor’s hit show Chandra Nandini on Star Plus. S
he got engaged to her longtime boyfriend and filmmaker Rohit Mittal in the month of June earlier this year. And now it’s the time for wedding bells for the couple as they are all set to tie the knot next month on the 13th of December in Pune.
They have been dating for four years and Shweta confirmed that the couple was now ready to take their relationship to the next level.
She said in an interview to a leading daily that the wedding would take place following both Bengali and Marwari traditions in Pune, followed by a reception in Mumbai.
Currently, Shweta is having a gala time chilling with her best friends in Bali for her bachelorette. You would be also pleasantly surprised to know that in their case, it was Shweta who popped the question for marriage to Rohit rather than vice versa. Bold and beautiful, we would say!
